Mets players support the Grimace era hot streak: 'I think that’s a lot of fun, adding Grimace to this. So I’m all for it'
The team is on a hot streak after the purple legend threw out a first pitch last week. Coincidence or divine intervention?
The Mets, a team often on the brink of some sort of internal collapse, was visited by such a noble foreign dignitary last week at Citi Field: Grimace, who threw out the first pitch on June 12 in celebration of another year of life.
