Metro Boomin has announced his initiative to donate $100,000 to five women-focused nonprofits in his native St. Louis, MO in honor of his late mother’s legacy. Metro raised the funds distributed in the donations during the Leslie Joanne Soirée holiday event held at Rung in December. “We are excited to partner with Metro Boomin in his work to lift up single mothers in St. Louis,” said Rung’s president Leslie Gill.
