Metallica Brings Fuel, Fire and Fury to ‘Fortnite Festival’
Metallica is coming to Fortnite as Season 4 Festival icons.
Rockers James Hetfield, Kirk Hammett, Robert Trujillo and Lars Ulrich also come to the game with new outfits, unlockable through the in-game Festival pass and in the shop. Rocket Racing gets a righteous twist with the new Thrash Mountain track, a volcanic circuit serving as a tribute to all things rock including instrumental monuments, a stretch of road like a fretboard and Metallica’s “Fuel” playing in the background. Hetfield, Hammett, Trujillo and Ulrich are in good company as “Fortnite” Festival’s Season 4 icons — The Weeknd, Lady Gaga and Billie Eilish previously held the spot.
