Met Office issues weather warning for heavy rain to hit parts of UK by New Year's Eve


The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for heavy rain that could bring "significant disruption" to parts of the UK ahead of New Year's Eve, and some areas may also see snow

Mild temperatures and situations reminiscent of Boxing Day are expected, with cloud cover and "patchy drizzle" in areas like western Wales and south-west England, as per the Met Office's statements.
