Met Gala 2024: The Crown star Elizabeth Debicki channels Rapunzel in an elegant Dior gown with knee length hair
Elizabeth Debicki turned heads in a classic Dior gown at the Met Gala on Monday night.
Debicki's stylist Elizabeth Saltzman told Vogue that the inspiration for the actress' outfit was drawn from Anita Louise's character Titania in a 1935 adaptation of A Midsummer Night's Dream and a '70s kind of social cool girl today' with 'whimsy of a '60s heiress at a garden party.' The MET's Costume Institute is celebrating the new exhibition, called Sleeping Beauties: Reawakening Fashion, with the dress code being The Garden of Time. Shortly before the main event kicked off on Monday, longtime Vogue editor Anna Wintour sat down with Today host Jenna Bush Hager to discuss the big night.
