Meredith Gaudreau Wants to Be a ‘Hockey Mom,’ Have Son on Skates ‘Soon’
During the eulogy for her late husband Johnny Gaudreau, Meredith Gaudreau said she wants to be a ‘hockey mom’ and will have six-month-old son Johnny on skates ‘soon’
“John, I promise to have baby Johnny on skates soon and to be a dedicated hockey mom that drives any distance to all the tournaments,” Meredith said at the ceremony, held at St. Mary Magdalen Parish outside Philadelphia. “I’ll wake up early for the games, even if that means baby Johnny shows up in Winnie the Pooh pajamas and sleeps on the bench, just like you did.” On March 18, 2024, former NHL players Konstantin Koltsov and Chris Simon were announced dead in separate instances, the latest in a string of recent passings to rock the sport.
