Mercedes Mone Blames 'People on the Internet' For Perceived AEW/WWE Feud
Ahead of her match for the AEW TBS Championship at Double or Nothing on Sunday, May 26, Mercedes Mone spoke to Us Weekly about the perceived tension between AEW and WWE
“I feel like there should be no competition when it’s between companies,” Moné, who spent a decade in WWE as Sasha Banks, exclusively told Us Weekly. In an exclusive interview with Us Weekly, the current SmackDown superstar, 25, said she would “love” to go one-on-one with WWE legend and Hall of Famer Trish Stratus. Moné gave props to Nightingale, calling her a “star on the rise,” but acknowledged “she is so genuine, her smile legit sometimes pisses me off.”
