Members of the British Royal Family Who Have Retired
Retirement isn’t typical of the British royal family, but it’s not impossible. Some members of the family have retired, or stepped back, from their roles.
Though some, such as the late Prince Phillip, take steps back from public life due to age and health-related concerns, others have voluntarily downsized their own roles out of necessity or desire.
