Melissa Villaseñor Says Owen Wilson Shut Down Idea To Impersonate Him On ‘SNL’: “I Feel Like It’s Done”


Former Saturday Night Live cast member Melissa Villaseñor is opening up Owen Wilson's time as guest host on the NBC late-night sketch show.

Villaseñor recalled that when Wilson hosted SNL ‘s Season 47 premiere in 2021, she brought up the idea of impersonating him alongside him, but he denied the request. “He hosted, and I asked him if we could do the Owen impression together,” Villaseñor said on Dana Carvey and David Spade’s Fly on the Wall podcast.
