Melissa McCarthy responded to Barbra Streisand's since-deleted Instagram comment asking if she's taking Ozempic, telling TMZ, "I think Barbra is a treasure and I love her."

"I think Barbra is a treasure and I love her," McCarthy told a photographer from TMZ on April 30. Earlier on April 30, Streisand addressed the situation, writing in a statement, "I went on Instagram to see the photos we’d posted of the beautiful flowers I’d received for my birthday! And I was like, none of this is what I expected," the Little Mermaid actress told Entertainment Weekly in June 2023 of meeting Streisand.
