Mel Gibson has been spotted wearing a medical boot while out for dinner with his daughter Lucia in Malibu. The actor, who celebrated his 68th birthday last Wednesday, also used a walking stick.
Lucia also kept her outfit low-key as she walked alongside her famous father - sporting a pair of Christmas-themed bottoms, Ugg shoes and a black oversized cardigan. He said he wanted to honor the original director — the late Richard Donner, who wrote the screenplay and was set to direct prior to his death in July 2021. While speaking at an event in London, The Sun reported the original Superman director had told his wife as well as the studio and producer that he wanted to pass the baton to Mel.
