Meghan Trainor is sharing the story of the time she got "really high" while on vocal rest before a surgery.

On the July 8 episode of the Armchair Expert podcast with Dax Shepard and Monica Padman, the 30-year-old "Me Too" singer opened up about a terrifying experience she had while awaiting vocal cord surgery. Trainor -- who started singing at the age of 6 -- was advised by her doctor not to use her voice in the months leading up to the procedure, which caused her to turn to cannabis in the edible form to cope. She recently spoke with ET about the project and her tour alongside her 32-year-old hubby and brother Ryan Trainor for a special edition of "Spilling the E-Tea."
