Meghan Markle's new surname revealed as she shares 'meaningful' reason behind it


Prince Harry and Meghan Markle do not officially have a surname, but the couple have now revealed what they are using in their new life in the US, and the reason behind it

Speaking of Sussex, Meghan conveyed the deep connection she feels, declaring it pivotal in her and Harry's "love story", and gleaming with pride that: "It's our shared name as a family, and I guess I hadn't recognised how meaningful that would be to me until we had children", reports the Mirror. Meghan shared the importance of her family name, Sussex (Image: ARCHWELL) Prince William and Princess Kate followed suit when their little ones started school, with George, Charlotte and Louis all adopting the surname Cambridge - their Royal titles before Queen Elizabeth II's passing. The show is part of the couple's lucrative five-year contract with the streaming giant, inked just before they stepped back from their senior Royal duties ahead of the pandemic.
