Meghan Markle's dad sends message to King Charles following cancer diagnosis


The Duchess of Sussex, Meghan Markle's father, Thomas Markle, has sent his 'best wishes' to King Charles III, following the news that the monarch has been diagnosed with cancer

Thomas, 79, who resides in Mexico, has said he sends "all the good wishes in the world" to King Charles, 75, who publicly shared this cancer diagnosis on Monday, 5 February, in a statement issued by Buckingham Palace. Buckingham Palace said in a statement: "During The King's recent hospital procedure for benign prostate enlargement, a separate issue of concern was noted. King Charles has been diagnosed with cancer (Image: SAMIR HUSSEIN/PA WIRE)The statement concluded: "He remains wholly positive about his treatment and looks forward to returning to full public duty as soon as possible.
