"In many African cultures, including Nigeria, yellow is reserved for those of high rank due to its resemblance to gold, symbolizing wealth, quality, success, and royalty," Christensen concluded, explaining what Meghan may have attempted to reference. She debuted an elegant Philip Treacy fascinator for a wedding in August 2018 and then wore it a few months later during her royal tour of Australia with a modest black button-up dress by Emilia Wickstead.
