Meghan Markle's £6,000 gift from Victoria Beckham - but it had 'zero effect'
ve Meghan Markle over £6,000 worth of designer items, according to a royal expert. However, the gift had little effect on the sales of her fashion line, according to to biographer Tom Bower.
Royal biographer, Tom Bower, spoke about this in his new book House of Beckham as he outlined an exchange between Victoria and Meghan, reports the Express. He wrote: "Victoria agreed to provide a coat, dress, boots and a handbag worth £6,000 to Meghan for the Royal Family's traditional Christmas Day parade in Sandringham." According to Tom in his new book, Victoria is said to have made an effort to befriend Meghan, due to her family's friendship with Prince Harry and William.
