Meghan Markle surprised fans by launching her very own Instagram account, nearly five years after the last post was shared on her and Prince Harry's page
On Wednesday, January 1, the Duchess of Sussex, 43, launched her very own Instagram account under the username@meghan to connect with fans around the world and share updates on her latest projects. For her debut post — which was filmed by her husband, Prince Harry, near the pair’s home in Montecito, California — Markle ran along a cloudy beach before stopping to write “2025” in the sand. Yet we are confident that every human being has the potential and opportunity to make a difference—as seen now across the globe, in our families, our communities and those on the front line—together we can lift each other up to realize the fullness of that promise,” they wrote in March 2020, referring to the Covid crisis.
