Meghan Markle breaks silence on new 'title' that divides royal fans

Meghan Markle has been given an honour by the Yoruba King, Oluwo of Iwo and also a traditional name but her comments on the new accolade have divided Royal fans

Meghan Markle has responded publicly following her recent honour from the Yoruba King, Oluwo of Iwo, and it has sparked diverse reactions among Royal fans. The Duchess of Sussex, 42, was honoured with a traditional Yoruba name "Adetokunbo," something Meghan highlighted as a treasured gift, branding Nigeria as her "home." However, other users were quick to note that Meghan's title is not an official Royal designation, merely a traditional Nigerian name, which in Yoruba translates to "The crown returns from over the sea."
