Meghan Markle reportedly wants Prince Harry to let go of his lawsuits and stop carrying the weight of litigation as he fights to reinstate police protection for himself and his family
They said the former actress understands that the Duke's deep-seated fears of history repeating itself - following Princess Diana's tragic car crash - and his love for his children, Archie and Lilibet, prevent him from giving up. Harry initiated legal proceedings against the February 2020 verdict by the Executive Committee for the Protection of Royalty and Public Figures (Ravec), which determined he would no longer receive the same level of taxpayer-funded security upon his visits to Britain. In a written statement from a previous hearing, Harry explained: "It was with great sadness for both of us that my wife and I felt forced to step back from this role and leave the country in 2020.
