Meghan Markle and Prince Harry were not invited to Sir Elton John's annual Oscars bash last year with one royal expert claiming it proved they are "nobodies in Hollywood"
One of these glamorous events was hosted by pop legend and Princess Diana's friend, Sir Elton John, who raised a record £7.4m for his AIDS Foundation at his annual Oscars party in 2023. The event saw big names like model Heidi Klum, fashion designer Donatella Versace and singer Rina Sawayama in attendance. Princess Diana once bravely shook the hand of a man suffering from HIV/Aids without wearing gloves, challenging the belief that the disease could be spread by touch, in front of the world's media.
