Meghan Markle 'copyrighted the name of daughter Lilibet before birth' says royal expert
Meghan Markle allegedly copyrighted the name Lilibet before she and Prince Harry welcomed their daughter in 2021, claims royal expert Angela Levin, who branded it 'disrespectful'
In Robert Hardman's new biography, Charles III: New King, New Court, The Inside Story, it's claimed: "One [aide] privately recalled that Elizabeth II had been 'as angry as I'd ever seen her' in 2021 after the Sussexes announced that she had given them her blessing to call their baby daughter 'Lilibet', the Queen's childhood nickname." Royal expert Angela Levin has now weighed in on the claims, and has alleged that Meghan, who is also mum to son Archie, four, with Harry, copyrighted Lilibet's name before she was born, branding the move "appalling". Speaking on GB News, Angela said: "That's an incredibly sad comment, I think one of the reasons she felt that way was because it was discovered that Megan, even before Lilibet was born, had taken out the names officially so that she could use them to buy things and to identify them."
