Throughout the clip, Meg transforms into a giant snake — mamushi is a venomous pit viper found in Japan — that attacks the less-than-savory patrons while Chiba helps her dispose of the bodies. Though it’s possible the whole thing was just a dream, as Kasamatsu’s character wakes up in a hot bath at the end to see Meg strutting away with a giant snake tattoo covering her back. She did play a couple of gigs after returning to the States, though, including a performanceat a rally forvice president Kamala Harris, as well as a headlining setat Lollapalooza.
