While she declined to confirm if her hit “Tennessee Orange,” is about Volunteers fan Wallen as speculated, she explained that she met the star right before the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 while she was a senior in college. While Moroney’s “Tennessee Orange” lyrics sparked rumors that the track is about Wallen, the duo began commenting on each other’s social media photos and fueled the fire even more.
