Megan McKenna explains 'dangerous' and 'painful' fertility journey that ended as 'magical experience'

Former TOWIE star Megan McKenna is expecting her first child, but she's now revealed that her road to getting pregnant wasn't easy as she had to undergo fertility treatment

However, she's now shared that her journey to motherhood was not an easy one, as she revealed that, due to having been diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic Ovary Syndrome) when she was younger, she had decided to freeze her eggs. The couple sought the help of a fertility clinic to ensure that she fell pregnant, after struggling to do so naturally, resulting in her (and Oli) administering many injections into her stomach and being on medication, before an embryo was implanted. The star shared an emotional video to Instagram which captured many of these moments, before she and Oli finally found out that they were pregnant as they looked at a pregnancy test and celebrated together.
