Meet the 'other Charles' in the Royal Family who has a title of his own


Charles, Viscount Linley is a grandson of Princess Margaret and lives out of the royal spotlight - but who is he and why is he the only one of his cousins to have a title?

This ceremonial role required him to carry the long train of the Queen’s robes at state occasions, such as the Order of the Garter service. After 27 years of marriage, his parents the Earl and Countess of Snowdon announced they had separated in February 2020 and had filed a case for divorce.
