Heidi certainly has the determination to make it we realise minutes into our chat, where she also lifts the lid on her mum’s drug-taking, suffering anxiety when being bullied and whether she’ll have a nose job too – something Kerry said she won’t stop her doing. Heidi, who has just f inished her GCSEs [she was held back a year due to the pandemic], is moving out of the family home in Cheshire to attend performing arts school Liverpool Media Academy in preparation for a career in acting. I don’t even call him a stepdad when I’m talking to people – I’ll just say, ‘My dad is picking me up.’ My mum and Ryan are always kissing and being all lovey which is a bit disgusting, but it’s also nice to see her happy.
