Medical Drama ‘Doc’ Set For Mexican Adaptation With Juan Pablo Medina: Sony Unveiling Series At LA Screenings


Juan Pablo Medina leads a Mexican adaptation of hit medical procedural ‘Doc’; Sony unveils series at the LA Screenings.

Deadline understands Sony will talk about the Mexican series during its LA Screenings presentation for buyers representing the LatAm region, which takes place today, May 20. The Mexican adaptation will follow Andrés Ferrara (Juan Pablo Medina) as a head of internal medicine who loses his memory of the last twelve years after an assassination attempt. SPT’s 2025 LA Screenings slate also includes: Jon Hamm drama American Hostage; Outlander prequel Outlander: Blood of My Blood; the BBC and Stan’s Lord of the Flies; Australian series Playing Gracie Darling; ITV’s true-crime drama The Lady; docu-drama Titanic Sinks Tonight; and Peacock comedy The Miniature Wife.
