McFly's Danny Jones is first I'm A Celeb star to land in Australia after weather caused flight chaos

Danny Jones has finally touched down in Australia as the first I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here! campmate to arrive Down Under, after severe weather delayed his flight.

Sam Thompson and Joel Dommett, who are hosting the spin-off show to I'm A Celeb, were also on the flight (Image: Tim Merry/Staff Photographer)While the celebrities touched down at lunchtime on Sunday back in the UK, it was nearing 10pm in Australia - a later arrival than planned as their plane was delayed to landing due to weather issues. The plane was reportedly scheduled to arrive at 8:56pm local time, but severe rain, thunder and lightening meant that the Brisbane Airport tarmac was closed and flights had to hold fire on landing - according to The Sun.
