McFly singer Danny Jones is embroiled in scandal following his BRITS afterparty kiss with Maura Higgins, and now a telling comment has emerged from his band's 2012 autobiography

Further footage obtained by the Sun showed Danny and Maura, 34, continuing the party at London's Nobu hotel, where they allegedly drank wine until 6am. Former Miss England took a step back from the limelight, cancelling her scheduled appearance at The Baby Show in London on Saturday 8 March alongside her podcast pal Kelsey Parker from Mum's the Word! Meanwhile, Danny slipped up with a cheeky jest about 'leaving' Georgia during the Parenting Hell podcast with comedians Rob Beckett and Josh Widdicombe, just before the buzzworthy Maura smooch came to light.
