Mayfair Witches Recap: How Do You Solve a Problem Like Rowan?
Rowan has so little influence over the other characters or story that I’m starting to wonder if she even needs to be here anymore.
Rowan runs around all morning acting like she’s doing important, world-saving work, but if she had stayed locked in that basement for the entire episode, everything would have played out in exactly the same way. — but because he inherited her magic powers and started that rapid aging thing, she told the midwives to pretend he was stillborn and sent him off to live in the woods with his father, Lord Something-or-Other. Cortland would like to think of himself as a good guy now and bravely offers to go into the Victrola (they have a second one here in Scotland) with Ian so they can combine forces and, I don’t know, convince Julien not to do that with solid arguments and brotherly love.
