“I never meant to imply that I didn’t get the part for nepotistic reasons — I think I totally did,” she said, addressing previous comments about how she auditioned for the role. She continued, joking, “I saw two paths when I was first starting, and one of them was: change your name, get a nose job and go to open casting roles.” She’s not even upset about being the butt of a joke, acknowledging that she’s in “a lucky place” and has “really honest and positive” relationships with her parents.
