Maya Rudolph Shares Update on Possible 'Bridesmaids' Sequel and Returning to 'Saturday Night Live' (Exclusive)

The actress is currently promoting the second season of her Apple TV+ show, 'Loot.'

Talking with ET ahead of the season 2 premiere of her Apple TV+ show, Loot, the 51-year-old Saturday Night Live alum addressed recent comments made by her co-star and friend, Kristen Wiig, about the potential for a follow-up to the 2011 comedy. In response, Rudolph -- who starred as Lilian, the bride-to-be in the Paul Feig-directed film -- said that she respects Wiig's decision and that she doesn't get a say in whether or not a Bridesmaids sequel moves forward. Bridesmaids also starred Rose Byrne, Wendi Mclendon-Covey, Ellie Kemper, Jon Hamm and Melissa McCarthy -- who received an Oscar nomination for Best Supporting Actress for her role in the film.
