Maya Jama admits she 'wants bigger role' on Love Island as she prepares for major birthday milestone


Love Island presenter Maya Jama has spoken about her role on the series as she approaches a milestone birthday and considers a career move in the future

Ahead of Love Island’s launch on Monday 3 June, the villa has undergone a transformation in preparation from the new arrivals, with some of the show's classic locations undergoing a makeover. The new look for the Love Island villa has been revealed (Image: ITV) The 12 contestants have been revealed, and include make up artist Samantha Kenny, recruitment manager Munveer Jural, model Nicole Samuel, footballer Ronnie Vint, influencer Patsy Field, surveyor Ciaran Davies, mental health nurse Mimii Ngulube, hair stylist Sam Taylor, retail manager Jess White, model Ayo Odukoya, dancer Harriet Blackmore, and salesman Sean Stone. As well as the main series, Aftersun returns to screens every Sunday and will be hosted by Maya alongside panellists Sam Thompson, Indiyah Polack, Amy Hart, Chris Taylor and Jordan Stephens.
