It’s a Hollywood norm for older male actors to have oncamera romances with younger women. Now, the roles have reversed and it’s time for the ladies to shine.
Because Hollywood’s biggest female actors including Nicole Kidman and Anne Hathaway are some of the women who recently starred in films where they have a hot oncamera romance with younger partners. Out in October, Netflix’s age-gap romance features the 57-year-old as a newly single novelist who goes on a retreat to Morocco and crosses paths with a younger guy — Aussie beefcake Liam Hemsworth, 34. Described as a descent into a world of “sex, obsession, power, betrayal and murder,” the upcoming flick stars the 40-year-old as an artist who taps the much younger Elliot ( Cooper Hoffman, 21) as her sexual muse.
