Max George puts on a brave face as he takes his dog Albert for a walk in Manchester - after revealing new health fears just weeks after shock heart surgery
The Wanted star, 36, had a pacemaker fitted after being admitted to hospital in December for an undisclosed heart condition.
After a lengthy stay, he was discharged on Christmas Day and spent the holidays with his girlfriend Maisie Smith, before visiting his mum Barbara in Salford, Greater Manchester. The performer opened up about the crippling fear he'd felt being on a ward surrounded by patients at least 30 years his senior, and told how he'd left instructions on his iPhone in case he didn't make it. Recalling that 'really scary' and sleepless first night in hospital, Max told how he was 'struggling to move' and battled a number of other symptoms including a tightness in his throat and having deep, slow breaths.
