Maura Higgins spotted getting close to newly-single Strictly star at Pride of Britain
Maura Higgins and Kai Widdrington, who is newly single following his split from Nadiya Bychkova, were pictured getting close at the Pride of Britain Awards on Monday night
Discussing the separation, the ballroom star told the Mirror: "We work together but we are not friends and that's OK. One thing I can tell you is that when you see me dancing with him it will be amazing because I'm a professional." Nadiya chose to keep the reasons for their break up private and despite the tension, both are set to cha-cha-cha their way across the Strictly stage together later in the series. Kai also revealed that he and Nadiya tried to keep their romance under wraps for as long as possible, but they informed 'Strictly' bosses about their relationship "as a professional courtesy".
