Maude Apatow Sets Andrew Barth Feldman, Cooper Hoffman, Leslie Mann & Nico Parker To Star In Feature Directorial Debut ‘Poetic License’
Maude Apatow's directorial debut 'Poetic License' will star Andrew Barth Feldman, Cooper Hoffman, Leslie Mann and Nico Parker, Deadline can reveal.
Other films on the company’s slate at present include How to Murder Your Life, based on Cat Marnell’s memoir of prescription drug addiction and self-sabotage, and Emily Rappaport’s Female Friendship, which Apatow has eyed as a potential starring vehicle. Feldman broke out with his acclaimed turn opposite Jennifer Lawrence in Sony’s sex comedy No Hard Feelings and can currently be seen playing SNL talent coordinator Neil Levy in Jason Reitman’s awards prospect Saturday Night. Since breaking out in Paul Thomas Anderson’s Licorice Pizza, Hoffman has quickly established himself as one of the most in-demand young actors in town with turns in Ethan Hawke’s Wildcat and Reitman’s Saturday Night, where he plays Dick Ebersol, the NBC executive backing Lorne Michaels’ mission of getting the now-iconic late-night sketch series on the air, in spite of all obstacles.
