Matty Healy set to get 'everything off his chest' about turbulent Taylor Swift romance on 'The 1975's secret new album' - after she 'referenced' their fling on her own record
Matty, 35, and Taylor, 35, dated very briefly in 2023, and she appeared to reference their short-lived romance on her latest album The Tortured Poets Department.
In October Matt y seemingly took a dig at his former flame when he referred to his 'casual romantic liaisons' and explained why he doesn't write about heartbreak and his past relationships anymore. During an appearance on Joshua Citarella’s podcast Doomscroll, Matty spoke about his process of making music and what he likes to write about and said: 'Last year I became a way more well-known public figure for loads of different reasons. After the release of The Tortured Poet's Department, a source told Us Weekly that Matty's reaction to the supposed song about him was positive, and the people close to him 'couldn't be happier' with how the record turned out.
