Matthew Perry’s personal assistant pleads guilty to charge related to his death

He died from the ‘acute effects of ketamine’ last year.

Speaking at a press briefing earlier today, United States Attorney Martin Estrada said an investigation uncovered a ‘broad underground criminal network responsible for distributing large quantity of ketamine to Perry and others’. Tributes poured in for Matthew on social media (Picture: Getty)In December, the County of Los Angeles Department of Medical Examiner said that Perry died from the ‘acute effects of ketamine’ and that the manner of death was ‘an accident.’ The Friends cast – also made up of Jennifer Aniston, Lisa Kudrow, Courteney Cox, Matt LeBlanc and David Schwimmer – issued a joint statement two days after their loss, and separately remembered their co-star on Instagram.
