Matthew Perry’s Doctor Agrees to Plead Guilty, Facing Up to 40 Years in Jail


Dr. Salvador Plasencia becomes the fourth person to plead guilty in connection to Perry’s death.

Salvador Plasencia, Matthew Perry’s doctor, agreed to plead guilty to four criminal counts of distributing ketamine, per the New York Times on June 16. Dr. Plasencia, who ran an urgent care in Calabasas, California, was set to go to trial in August 2025 for the case. She is scheduled to go to trial in August, per ABC News, and is accused of selling over 50 vials to Perry, via Fleming and Iwamasa, in a span of two weeks.
