Matthew Perry Leaves $1 Million to Trust Named After Woody Allen Role

Matthew Perry designated over $1 million to Alvy Singer Living Trust, named after the main character of Woody Allen's 1977 film 'Annie Hall.'

Matthew Perry designated over $1 million to the trustees of the “Alvy Singer Living Trust,” which is named after the main character Woody Allen portrayed in his 1977 film Annie Hall. The Los Angeles medical examiner later announced that he died from the “acute effects of ketamine.” According to an autopsy report, the “high levels of ketamine” found in Perry’s blood at the time of his death likely resulted in the Friends actor lapsing “into unconsciousness,” which in turn caused him to drown. “Oh boy this one has cut deep… Having to say goodbye to our Matty has been an insane wave of emotions that I’ve never experienced before,” Jennifer Aniston, who played Rachel on the show, wrote.
