The late Matthew Perry got a special tribute during the 2024 Emmy Awards' In Memoriam segment.
Angela Lansbury (Murder She Wrote) and Stephen 'tWitch' Boss (Ellen) also drew applause from the crowd, along with Richard Belzer (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit), Ron Cephas Jones (This Is Us), Treat Williams (Everwood) and Angus Cloud (Euphoria). Others honored included Lance Reddick, Suzanne Somers, John Beasley, Leslie Jordan, Jim Brown, David McCallum, Len Goodman, Cindy Williams, Harry Belafonte, Bob Barker, Paul Reubens, Kirstie Alley, Andre Braugher, Alan Arkin and Barbara Walters. Richard Belzer (Law & Order: Special Victims Unit) was also honored during the In Memoriam segment at the Emmy Awards
