Government lawyers have alleged that Matthew's assistant and a friend collaborated with two doctors and a drug dealer to procure thousands of pounds worth of ketamine for the star. Her home, located in north Hollywood, was a "drug-selling emporium", Martin Estrada, the US attorney for California's Central District, told a news conference on 15 August. Matthew was open about his battle with substance abuse and addiction, setting up a sober living facility for men with similar issues.
