The 55-year-old Oscar winner took to Instagram on Saturday, posting two heartwarming snapshots of their father-son bonding at a University of Texas football game—McConaughey's alma mater. Alves, originally from Itambacuri, Brazil, moved to New York City at 19 to pursue modeling, eventually landing on top fashion magazines. McConaughey, a Texas native, gained fame in Dazed and Confused (1993) and rose to leading-man status with hits like A Time to Kill (1996) and his Oscar-winning turn in Dallas Buyers Club (2013).
