Matthew Macfadyen Admits He 'Didn't Enjoy' Portraying Mr. Darcy in 'Pride & Prejudice'

Matthew Macfadyen is opening up about his role in 2005's 'Pride & Prejudice.'

On Tuesday, the Deadpool & Wolverine star appeared on CBS Mornings, where he revealed that despite all the love he got for playing Mr. Darcy in 2005's Pride & Prejudice, he isn't very fond of it. Macfadyen, 49, played opposite Keira Knightley in the film based on the romance novel by Jane Austen. "She was grounded, she had a screensaver of me as Mr. Darcy on her laptop," Macfadyen quipped to ET about hearing the fellow Emmy winner's childhood story firsthand.
