Matthew Gaudreau’s mother, Jane, shared her emotional reaction to the birth of his first son just four months after Matthew was killed by a drunk driver
“Mom-Mom and Pop-Pop’s hearts are overflowing with love for you, Tripp Matthew,” Jane shared via her Instagram Story on Sunday, December 29, also referencing her husband, Guy. Courtesy of Madeline Gaudreau/Instagram Katie Gaudreau, the youngest sister of the brothers who was scheduled to get married the day after Matthew and Johnny were killed, also shared her enthusiastic reaction to Tripp’s birth. The shower was attended by Johnny’s wife, Meredith Gaudreau, who announced she was nine weeks pregnant with the couple’s third baby at a memorial service for the brothers in September.
