Matthew Davis & Alexander Hodge Join ‘Grosse Pointe Garden Society’ NBC Drama Pilot
Matthew Davis and Alexander Hodge are set as series regulars opposite Melissa Fumero, AnnaSophia Robb & Ben Rappaport in Grosse Pointe Garden Society.
The drama follows four members of a suburban garden club — including Birdie (Fumero), Alice (Robb) and Brett (Rappaport) — all from different walks of life, who get caught up in murder and mischief as they struggle to make their conventional lives bloom. Davis plays Joel, a police officer, Misty’s husband and the father of their adopted son, Tom, whom Birdie (Fumero) takes an interest in. Davis is known for his role as Alaric Saltzman on the CW fantasy drama The Vampire Diaries, which he played for eight seasons and subsequently reprised on spinoff series Legacies.
