Matt Smith & Liev Schreiber Latest To Join Darren Aronofsky’s ‘Caught Stealing’ For Sony
Sony's 'Caught Stealing' has added Matt Smith & Liev Schreiber to its cast. Austin Butler leads the pic from Darren Aronofsky, as previously reported.
Based on the books by Charlie Huston, who adapted the screenplay, Caught Stealing follows Hank Thompson (Butler), a burned-out former baseball player, as he’s unwittingly plunged into a wild fight for survival in the downtown criminal underworld of ’90s NYC. Emmy- and Golden Globe-nominated for his work on Showtime’s Ray Donovan, Schreiber’s most recent credits include Wes Anderson’s Asteroid City, National Geographic’s WWII miniseries A Small Light, Guy Nattiv’s Golda and Steven Soderbergh’s web series Command Z. Up next, the actor will be seen starring alongside Nicole Kidman, Dakota Fanning, Eve Hewson and more in Netflix’s murder mystery series The Perfect Couple, based on the novel by Elin Hilderbrand, which premieres on September 5.
