During a recent appearance at the Golden Globes, Matt Reeves was asked about a wide variety of topics, including a progress update on The Batman Part II and the potential of The Penguin to continue after its initial run. Reeves confirmed that he had, in fact, found the perfect adversary, and believes it’ll be surprising to fans when they throw down with Robert Pattinson. Though given Matt Reeves is still finishing the script for The Batman Part II, it’s not likely that fans will know who will be roughing up Robert Pattinson for another few months until production properly picks up.
