Matt Reeves at the Golden Globes say 'Batman II' is lensing this year, the director confirmed.
Deadline had heard through sources previously that the sequel to the $772M-plus grossing 2022 movie was lensing this summer. The series notched the third-most-watched HBO or Max debut season around the world following The House of the Dragon and The Last of Us. Reeves and his 6th & Idaho production company became the initial first look deal inked by Warner Bros Pictures Group Co-Chairs/CEOs Michael De Luca and Pamela Abdy in August 2022 after their hire.
